PADUA – There new school A few months after the start of the construction site, Engineering already stands out with its four floors among the pavilions of the fair. Some examples: the study room on the ground floor open until the evening, the central staircases with normal steps on one side and steps on the other (similar to small terraces) on which students can sit or stop to talk. Up to the garden which will be opened on the fourth and last floor.” These are two elements of great novelty. The former because from a simple passage they will become a place of sharing, the latter because a 2,400 square meter garden on the roof of a school 20 meters above sea level as a place for leisure and meeting has never been seen before.
THE EQUIPMENT
The Innovation Hub endowment will see 16 classrooms for 2,840 seats. To move on to the production technology made of side panels that can be assembled at the rate of two floors at a time and finally to transport: the foundations, with the only concrete used, were made in one night but it was the only one in which the concrete mixers arrived.

In fact, as you climb one of the five stairs (there are also 4 elevators) an increasingly fascinating view of the Padua skyline opens up. At a certain point on the third floor there is a room that overlooks the front of Via Tommaseo with a part extending outwards and from which the view extends from the spiers of the Saint to the Euganean Hills up to the hotels: a panoramic view of what will become the “blue kilometer of innovation” along Via Venezia. It is no coincidence that the School is designed to transmit knowledge in osmosis with the Competence Center which is located right next door in the tower of Pavilion 8. A place where companies and young entrepreneurs experiment with the future.

The Fair gave the land to the Bo for 50 years then the contract was won by the temporary grouping of companies led by the Bolzanina (of Bressanone) Rubner Holzbau srl which offered a discount of 4.85 percent.
