A laurel wreath as befits great champions capable of small but great undertakings such as those of which the children of the Il Sorriso day center were protagonists who concluded today (Wednesday 12 June) amidst the applause of their families and the Mayor Flavio Stasi, fresh from his reconfirmation as head of the City, the GinnasticaMenteArte project with the maestro Domenico De PasqualeFederal Technician of Artistic Gymnastics and among other disciplines, Fit for dance teacher.
“The project – says the President of the Social Cooperative The Children of the Moon Lorenzo Notaristefano who takes the opportunity to thank the teacher together with the vice president Marilena Price, to the advisor Francesca Price and to the partners Antonella Celestino, Antonio Simone, Dora Quadro and Margherita Quadro – was born with the aim of promoting postural and corrective gymnastics and then proved to be an eagerly awaited, appreciated and fun moment which allowed for inclusive and aggregative moments.
Once the enthusiasm of the children for the project and the extraordinary results was registered, the appointments with the teacher became weekly from fortnightly. For many of the participants, giant strides were recorded: those who had coordination and balance difficulties, in fact, had improvements since the first lessons. The end-of-year performance which concluded the journey which will certainly resume in September with the start of the new school year, follows the show held at Christmas.
The emotions for the parents were great, the satisfaction on the part of the entire multidisciplinary team was immense and, of course, the gratification on the part of the special aspiring athletes who also tried their hand at making the 100% recyclable cardboard crowns was important.
