MESTRE – The drug dealing bar closed: the Havana in via Cavallotti has been seized. The owner is one of the fourteen arrested for drug dealing in Via Piave. The precautionary measures were carried out at dawn by the Venice Flying Squad. The premises were therefore seized and made the subject of a patrimonial measure. THE ARRESTS

The fourteen arrests for drug dealing in Via Piave and in the areas surrounding Mestre were carried out at dawn by the Venice Flying Squad in execution of a precautionary measure issued by the judge for preliminary investigations of Venice, Maria Rosa Barbieri, at the request of the pm Alessia Tavarnesi.

The episodes that came under accusation date back to 2021. Twelve people of Italian and Albanian nationality ended up in prison, two under house arrest; 20 personal and local search decrees were also carried out on other people: a total of 34 people were under investigation.
