Countdown for the “Salerno-Amalfi Coast”. Less than a month until the openingairport between Pontecagnano and Bellizzi, close to seeing the definitive take-off with the first flights Volotea and Easyjet from 11 July.
To the first two low cost companies – as the newspaper reports today “Time” Ryanair will also be added from the end
July but no dates have been announced yet.
National and international flights. They are expected in the first few weeks already thousands of passengers and tourists who will
stopover in the Salerno area and then head towards the most popular tourist destinations of the Amalfi Coast, up to Pompeii, but without forgetting the archaeological sites of Paestum.
We will start with the first European flight to Nantes, available as early as July 11th, then the national one to Cagliari, available from July 13th, both twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Starting from 2 September, however, and for the entire winter period, connections to Catania and Verona will also be available, with two frequencies a week, on Mondays and Fridays.

If men and vehicles are at work inside the airport finalize the details for the new “inauguration” of the airport, as far as traffic is concerned, the timescales are tight and the roads have not yet been all asphalted, nor freed from reeds, tall grass and abandoned waste along the roadway that runs alongside the tracks of the Sa railway line -Rc.
