Savona. There is one month left until the end of the exhibition “Arturo Martini. The plot of dreams” and also the appointments with the public program are about to end. There are still three guided tours scheduled between now and 15 July, while on Friday 14 June the last conference of the series of meetings organized on the occasion of the exhibition will be held, entitled “Martini as a spectator and the spectacle around him”.
This time the protagonist will be Arturo Martini’s relationship with the world of entertainment. In fact, the artist, capable of assimilating and re-elaborating creative ideas and suggestions coming from everywhere, was an attentive and interested spectator of the world of theatre, music and cinema, in an era in which great innovations in language shook consolidated traditions.
The in-depth study, curated by Jacopo Marchisio, will try to reconstruct, without pretensions to completeness but trying to identify ideas and possibilities, what stages and rooms offered during the sculpture’s years of activity and to analyze its approach towards the world of representation and of the show.
The event will be held at 5.30 pm in the conference room of the Pinacoteca Civica (reservation recommended using the form – entrance Piazza Chabrol 2).
