Zeggio: “The council will be there within 10 days”

Francesca Zeggio, newly elected mayor of Lendinara, was very satisfied. “The satisfaction is great, but certainly also for the method and the serenity breathed in the electoral campaign, without battles or wars and close to the people”. Thanks go to the city which has recognized the work done in these ten years and has chosen to trust us for the continuity of the next five years”.

The next deadlines of the new Zeggio administration are already scheduled: “Within ten days the council will have to be defined and the first municipal council will then have to be convened. We will try to manage the bureaucratic part as soon as possible and then continue with the operations that allow both the calendar of events to continue with the programming already started until December and in the political-administrative part to continue thinking about the development of the city. There will be work to be done on many aspects, the bell tower, the good management of the ATS, the grandstand, the cycle path, continuing with other interventions already approved and preparing others, such as the renovation of the horizontal signs at the level crossings”.

After the prefect and the parish priests, the new mayor Francesca Zeggio also wanted to speak on the phone to Sergio Manzon, candidate on the opposing list and who will sit in opposition in the city council: “I hoped to work well in the council as a representative body of the entire city. Dialogue will certainly not be lacking.”

No indiscretion, however, for the council: “Although we have not signed an agreement with anyone, we will try to evaluate while maintaining respect for the candidates, numbers, experience and skills, but aiming for a council that is operational before being representative”.

Eleven names on his list, “Common Objectives”, who will sit on the city council: Alberto Viaro, Monica Pavarin, Natale “Claudio” Dallagà, Franco Fioravanti, Lorenza Masiero, Silvia Saggioro, Alberto Marinelli, Sandra Ferrari, Guglielmo Ferrarese, Nico Pavarin and Davide Bernardinello.
