Bari, between counts and barriers, here are the most voted candidates and probable councilors

Between counts and barriers, let’s see the analysis of the vote within the lists supporting each candidate, to outline the most voted and try to understand what an initial composition of the next Bari city council could be like

Numbers, counts, percentages, barriers. In the aftermath of the counting of the ballots for the Bari 2024 administrative elections and awaiting the definitive result of the ballot on 23 and 24 June, it is time for the first counts for the many names – from excellent to less well-known – present in the lists that supported the race of candidates for the office of mayor. And so, satisfaction in the Pd house, whose list in support of Vito Leccese was the one that achieved the highest number of preferences – equal to 28,863, with a percentage of 19.77% – and within which the first four the most supported are Elisabetta Vaccarelli (3931 preferences), the outgoing councilor for the environment and sport Pietro Petruzzelli, who reaches 3011 votes, the outgoing president of the Municipality1 Lorenzo Leonetti, who follows with 2267 and the outgoing councilor for education Paola Roman with 1879 preferences. Together with them, six other candidates on the list would secure a place in the city council. Also joining would be the councilors Vito Lacoppola, Carla Palone and the councilor Nicola Loprieno, most supported in Decaro for Bari and also Grazia Albergo (Mayor of Lecce) and the municipal councilors Giovanna Salemmi (Pd) and Angela Perna (Decaro for Bari). The same fate will befall Michele Laforgia, who came third with 21.75 percent and among whose supporting lists there should be five newly elected members, including Victor Laforgia, Giovanni Moretti, Antonello Delle Fontane, the former Welfare councilor Francesca Bottalico and Pasquale Lavopa. Among the ranks of the Fratelli d’Italia list, councilor Giuseppe Viggiano, De Marzo and Antonio Ciaula are full, followed by Irma Melini who reaches 808 preferences. Even better performance among the centre-right coalition lists for the entrepreneur Valeria Amoruso who, with 917 votes, could be the councilor elected as Mayor Romito.
