A twenty-nine-year-old woman was wounded in the late afternoon of Sunday 19 May by gunshots near the Adriatica state road outside Ravenna, a few meters from the Cava Manzona, a four-minute drive from Mirabilandia. The victim was a young prostitute of Bulgarian origin who survived what the Ravenna Prosecutor’s Office hypothesizes was an attempted murder. The shots, five in total, were fired from a moving BMW. At first we thought the worst about her but later it was established that the blows hit her arms without damaging her vital organs.
The one who ended up in handcuffs was a 32-year-old of Bulgarian origin domiciled in Viserba, now in prison: he is under investigation for attempted murder. Her wife, also resident in Rimini, is also being investigated for the crime of aiding and abetting, given that she was in the car from which the shots were fired: she is subject to the obligation to sign with a ban on going out in the evening . The investigations are still ongoing coordinated by prosecutor Buganè Pedretti and carried out by the carabinieri. The motive is unknown but it appears to be linked to a prostitution ring.
