The Legislative Assembly of Umbria approves the 2023 budget
The Legislative Assembly of Umbria has given its unanimous consent to the budget for the 2023 financial year. This document, as reported by a note from the body, shows that the total verified revenues exceed 19 million euros. The administration surplus, which amounts to approximately 5.5 million euros, and the tied multi-year funds, equal to almost one million euros, bring the total revenue for the 2023 financial year to approximately 25.5 million euros.
The total committed expenses are slightly higher than 23 million euros. Considering the outgoings for third parties and the remittances, which amount to approximately 3.5 million euros, the total expenditure reaches 26.5 million euros, leaving a final cash fund of approximately 2.5 million euros .
The most significant current expenditure items include allowances for regional administrators, the provision of lifetime allowances, contributions to council groups, operating expenses and personnel expenses. The budget management result for the 2023 financial year concludes with a stratified administration result of 5.9 million euros.
The budget balances were respected, as certified by the Board of Auditors who expressed a favorable opinion. This budget represents an example of responsible and transparent financial management by the Legislative Assembly of Umbria.
