European archeology days at Villa Guinigi

On the occasion of the European Archeology Days, the National Museum of Villa Guinigi opens its doors for three thematic guided tours for adults and children. Saturday at 4pm, thematic visit entitled Spatial intrusions at the museum: the protagonist landscape, curated by Pasquale Focarile and Elena Pontelli, Scuola Imt Alti Studi Lucca. Reservation recommended (max 25 people). Sunday 16 June: 12pm, thematic visit entitled Journey to Ancient Civilisations, organized by the staff. Reservation recommended (max 25 people). Sunday 16 June: approximately 10.30am-12pm, animated visit for families with children aged between 5 and 11 by the staff, entitled Memories of the Ancient World at the Museum of Villa Guinigi.

The usual event for families will be dedicated to the discovery of traces of the most remote past of our territory within the archaeological section of the museum, with the usual management method suitable even for the little ones. Reservation required (for the preparation of materials). Participation in the visits is included in the museum entrance ticket, free for those under 18 years of age. Tickets: full price 4 euros – reduced 2 euros; cumulative National Museums of Villa Guinigi and Palazzo Mansi: full €6.50 – reduced €3.25 (valid for three days); free for children under 18 and people with disabilities.
