Slow progress regarding the news related to the Rocchi stadium in Viterbo for next season. While progress is being made from Palazzo dei Priori on the bureaucratic issues linked to the full acquisition of the structure with all the regular registrations, the inspection has been set for Thursday with the managers of the Municipality and the managers of Favl Cimini Viterbo which is the only company to have presented the his expression of interest in the possible one-year management of the main football structure of the capital. There is therefore curiosity to understand what could happen after this appointment set for Thursday at 12 with FC which has already made it clear that it does not want to take on all the huge costs of fixing the turf and furnishings of the stadium which in fact, at some small ordinary maintenance work has been abandoned since April 2023. We will see if a meeting point will be reached and how much and how the Municipality will intervene. During the recent inauguration of the Pinovo Sporting Center, the entrepreneur Piero Camilli was all too clear and made it clear that without the substantial intervention of the Municipality and the availability of the Pilastro synthetic pitch it becomes almost impossible to think of setting up a a team that can think big with the precise desire to bring football back to Viterbo to levels that are decidedly more in line with the fans’ expectations.
