The Department of Culture of the City of Trani invites the presentation of Dr. Rosa Carbone’s book VOGLIO LIVE GREEN (ed. Susil, 2024).

The book

The intent of the work is to involve, disseminate and lead the reader to reflect on a more sustainable lifestyle, from the table to the choices and actions carried out in everyday life, underlining the importance of the individual within of a much larger and more complex ecosystem from which it is not possible to isolate oneself. In the first two chapters, all the benefits of a plant-based diet are analysed, with studies in hand, debunking the most common myths relating to this type of diet and also proposing two examples of seasonal menus. In the central chapter there are 50 vegetable recipes, created and tested by the author, moving from revisited traditional Italian recipes to international ones. Finally, in the last chapter the attention is focused on everything concerning the theme of environmental sustainability, from household tips, to anti-waste tips, to separate waste collection, up to creative tips and self-production within everyone’s reach .
