Milan, 10 June 2024 – Starts at 2pm today the bare of cards for administrative elections in Lombardy with the result of the European elections now definitive. The focus is above all on the three capitals called to the polls: Paviaadministered by the centre-right, Cremona and Bergamo, up to now led by the centre-left.
In Lombardy, 961 out of 1,502 Lombardy municipalities are waiting to know the name of the new mayor. The data of thedefinitive turnout for the administrative elections is 61.89%. Most of these towns do not have 5,000 inhabitants. Rarely ten thousand. Bergamo is waiting for Gori’s successor
In Bergamo the heaviest appointment in Lombardy with the choice of the successor of Giorgio Gori: as the polls closed, the first exit poll arrived, carried out by the Opinio Italia Consortium for Rai. According to this survey, the center-left with Elena Carnevali would win in the first round, with a percentage between 53 and 57%. Pezzotta – centre-right – would follow with a result between 39 and 43%. Small change for Apicella (M5S), with a range between 3 and 5%. Voting is also taking place in 163 other municipalities. Ballot possible in Albino, Dalmine, Romano di Lombardia and Seriate.

Province of Milan, 68 municipalities await the mayor
In the province of Milan they will have a new mayor 68 out of 133 municipalities. Of these, 11 cities have over 15 thousand inhabitants, and could potentially return on 23 and 24 June.
