In an electoral round in which unfortunately the growing abstentionism was the dominant factor, the Province of Cuneo, despite also losing voters, was the one in which the highest percentage of voters for the Regional elections was recorded.

Elections 2024: turnout in Cuneo

Let’s start from Regional. The just concluded electoral round was characterized by a drop of around seven percentage points: a heavy hemorrhage of voters which Granda partly contained, establishing itself as the province with the highest percentage of the entire region with the 58.87% where the Piedmontese average was 55.30%. But it must be said that in 2019, at the previous Regionals, the turnout figure was 65.94%

Also regarding elections Europeaneven in the province of Cuneo, voter figures were in sharp decline, from 67.32% in 2019 to 60.29% of this 2024. Even in this case, however, a smaller decline compared to several other Piedmontese provinces.

The “Granda” is the only one in the whole region to remain above 60% of voters, perhaps also helped by the many municipalities (171) which were also called to choose the new mayor this weekend.

And precisely as regards the Municipalsettled at 65.02% turnout in the province of Cuneo.
