The Carabinieri control services continue to guarantee the safety of citizens and combat all forms of illegality. Thanks to the efficiency of the service of Carabinieri of the Cremona Radiomobile Section they stopped and identified a 26-year-old, with a criminal record against him, in night of June 9, 2024.
Targeted control service on the territory
During the night the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section, while carrying out a control service in the Cremona area, stopped a 26 year old on board a car near via Mantova due to its irregular driving on the road.
The soldiers, suspicious of his condition, ordered the driver of the vehicle to stop. During the arrest, various checks were carried out, thanks to which the Carabinieri became aware of the failure of the 26-year-old to obtain a driving license.
The car, without insurance coverage, was then driven by the 26-year-old without a license and clearly impaired by alcohol abuse. Therefore the Military asked the driver in the cockpit to carry out an alcohol test, which he then showed almost double the value allowed by law, approximately 0.90 g/l. For this reason, the 26-year-old was reported for driving under the influence, fined for driving without a license and for not having insurance of the vehicle that was then seized and subjected to administrative detention for three months.
