The Varia di Palmi Foundation thanks the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria and the metropolitan mayor, Giuseppe Falcomatà, for the recent and substantial funding allocated by the Metrocity to the Varia di Palmi.
The fund received, in fact, represents fundamental support for our mission of promoting and preserving the cultural and historical traditions of the celebration of the Varia di Palmi in view of the next edition of the August 25, 2024.
The financing equal to 140,000 euros (with an increase of 40,000 euros compared to the previous edition) will allow us to carry out significant projects
who will contribute to the organization of today’s edition.
The president of the Varia Foundation comments, Daniele Laface:
“I am obliged first of all to thank the metropolitan mayor Falcomata, for having believed once again in the potential that the Varia has as a festival that creates a tourist-economic impact that has repercussions on the entire territory. I also thank the Mayor of Palmi, also in his capacity as metropolitan delegate for tourism, Giuseppe Ranuccio which, in the perspective of growth, supports not only the Varia celebration but also the work we are doing as a Foundation. We are working on an edition which, thanks also to the contribution of the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria, certainly is, and will be, even more ambitious than last year. The objective is in fact to gradually build a project that goes beyond the borders of the city of Palmi and is instead a project for the entire territory. Finally, I hope that the Calabria Region can also follow up on the words of admiration for the work done, with the contribution and support that the Varia festival deserves”.
