Solidarity in the city never stops: even in recent days, charitable initiatives in favor of those in need have multiplied, but also associations aimed at raising awareness on various issues, in particular, in this case, concentrated on the health sphere between aid , meetings and projects.
The Forlì Host Lions Club has delivered an important contribution of 5,460 euros to the Romagna Oncology Institute to contribute to the donation of wigs to women who, during the course of oncology treatment, find themselves facing the difficult phase of hair loss which, very often , has a negative impact on a psychological level. The donation is the result of the fundraising of two charity initiatives organized in recent months at the Dragoni theater in Meldola, made available free of charge by the municipal administration and the mayor Roberto Cavallucci.
The ‘Breath Dinner’ was held at ‘La Marì’ in Casa Romagna in Piazza Saffi to prepare for Sharing Breath 2024, the awareness and fundraising event for the prevention of respiratory diseases which takes place every year in September, in frame of Piazza Saffi. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, the Consorti Group of the Forli Rotary Club donated Airc azaleas to the surgery department of the Morgagni – Pierantoni hospital in Forlì to remember Dr. Diana Morgagni, who passed away last January, who worked in that department.
