DINNER UNDER THE STARS AND WITH THE STARS FOR I
70 YEARS OF THE ALESSANDRIA HOST LIONS CLUB
The Alessandria Host Lions Club, the first founded in Alessandria in 1954, celebrates its 70th anniversary this year and the first initiative on the calendar with many events is a special evening organized with the collaboration of the Municipality of Alessandria entitled “DINNER UNDER THE STARS AND WITH THE STARS FOR THE 70 YEARS OF THE LIONS CLUB ALESSANDRIA HOST” and which will take place next Thursday 27 June from 8 pm in via San Lorenzo, in the heart of Alessandria, where around sixty tables will be set up at which around 500 people will sit .
The event is included in the “Yellow Nights” week, so defined for the exceptional opportunity offered by the passage through the city of the Tour de France, the Grande Boucle which will also travel the streets of Alessandria on Monday 1st July.
A “Dinner under the stars”, but also “with the Stars” busy in the kitchen: Andrea Ribaldone, Michelin star, from Alessandria fond of his city and ready to respond to the call of those who are committed to the relaunch of Alessandria; the master pastry chef Stefano Laghi; Andrea Nari, Fabrizio Martini; Rovida e Signorelli, Mamù small pastry shop; Gustavo.
The direction of the evening was entrusted to Marcello Canestri, past president of the Lion CLub Alessandria Host and soul of the initiative which avails itself of the collaboration of Davide Valsecchi, for an evening with a social impact, since the proceeds will be donated to the valorisation of the city centre.
The choice of via San Lorenzo was dictated by the spirit of renewal promoted by traders and residents in the street which immediately proved to be contagious, involving other streets and city districts; a desire to revitalize the city that the Lions Alessandria Host has grasped and shared by continuing the tradition of summer dinners for charity which made it possible to raise funds to donate two inclusive playgrounds to the city.
Reservations for the evening are now sold out, but there will certainly be no shortage of other public initiatives with the same characteristics.
