Diego Foresti is ready to take on the role of general manager. There is official information regarding the location and dates of the retreat (San Gemini). Meanwhile, Iannarilli’s departure seems imminent.
The new arrival. The red-green club, after the long reflections and internal discussions following the relegation, seems to have the will to start again with momentum and further unity. President Nicola Guida therefore trusts in the managerial versatility of Foresti who concluded his excellent experience at Catanzaro after four years and who boasts the proven ability to provide enthusiasm in environments forced to restart at full speed (as he did in Monza and Viterbo ), even in complicated situations (see his experience at Como). Furthermore, Guida announced in the press conference his intention to shape an important season from a sporting point of view and to start work on the new stadium by next year (that of the centenary). Hence the need to further strengthen corporate executives in order to be able to follow and take care of every single detail of the substantial agenda.
Withdrawal. The team will gather at the Hotel Garden in Terni on Sunday 14 July at 7pm. After the traditional tests the group will move to San Gemini where they will carry out their preparation on two grass pitches until 27-28 July. “The Company – reads the official press release – is working to organize friendly matches, useful for implementing preparations for the next tournament. The detailed program of the training camp itself will be announced shortly”. It is very likely that in the first friendly match, at the end of the first week of training camp, Ignazio Abate’s rossoverdi will challenge ASD Sangemini.
