The undersigned Davide Pirillo, as president of the cultural association “Progetto Phayllos” and for it, requests the naming of a square or street to be dedicated to the figure of the late mayor Pasquale Senatore. We recommend Piazza Berlinguer.

REASONS
We would like to point out that a possible naming is the natural continuity of the relationships of affection between the city and the figure of Pasquale Senatore, given the political transversality of which the prof. Senator enjoyed popular sympathy.
It would therefore be a fair institutional act in honor of an administrator who dedicated his life, first to the cause of Crotone, the provincial capital, for which he did his utmost with effective popular battles, which then led to the creation of a Crotone province; then as a capable administrator, who transformed the urban fabric of the city with his works.
A man, always in tune with the aspirations of citizens, capable of catalyzing these even in the darkest moments of local history, such as when the working masses returning from the closure of the industrial center of Crotone found the prof. Senator as standard-bearer of the demands of a betrayed Crotone.
It goes without saying that in popular mystique, the figure of this exceptional administrator is still alive, so much so that he was a popular yardstick for all subsequent administrations.
