The recently renovated municipal pharmacy of Montalto will be the first in the Marche Region to activate telemedicine services for citizens, with a view to ‘service pharmacy’. It will be like entering a specialized clinic. The cutting-edge equipment is already located inside the Pharmacy and will soon be active, thanks also to past investments in fiber optic cabling, necessary to operate machinery of that caliber. Through telemedicine tools, citizens will be able to connect with specialist doctors for cardiology, psychological, general medicine, dermatology and ENT, endocrinology, orthopedic, pneumology, allergology, dental, geriatric, oncology, psychiatric, neurological, gynecological, urological consultancy , personal trainer, physiatrist, neonatology, obstetrician and pediatrician. Specifically, after booking a visit to the Montalto Pharmacy, general medical advice will be available within 15/20 minutes, while for all other specialist visits the waiting time will be 24, maximum 48 hours. From that moment on, on the other side of the screen, citizens will be able to receive advice from doctors connected from all over Italy, qualified professionals trained for this type of activity who will be able to make use of all the tools necessary for diagnostics and to best evaluate, prescribe and create a medical record that will always remain available as a patient history.
