Legnano (Milan) – A new piece is added to the rebirth of the former Accorsi, building in Canazza district renovated to become a sort of neighborhood hub and which should be reactivated in September: the Its Incom Academy Foundation of Busto Arsizio will manage living spaces (an entire floor of the structure) and training spaces in the building in via Girardi, available to students who reside outside the area and will thus be able to attend the training and high specialization courses offered.
As is known, the property is the subject of a regeneration and redevelopment project which the Municipality assigned to a temporary business association (Ati) formed by the San Carlo Foundation, Renovo Social enterprise and Intrecci cooperative. Its Incom, which offers courses from communication to IT, from robotics to automation, has become a partner of the initiative and manages the spaces dedicated to post-diploma training.
“These training courses represent a new and important opportunity for the young people of our area – said the mayor Lorenzo Radice -. Councilor Ilaria Maffei, who has been working on the post-diploma training front for some time, has personally committed herself to organizing meetings to present these courses in high schools, demonstrating the importance we recognize in a proposal that enables young people to work in our industrial system, with strong skills that are in step with market demands. All this could happen in the former Rsa Accorsi which, from a place exclusively dedicated to hospitality, opens up to the city and to the new generations, contributing to a path of urban regeneration which is not only the physical one of the buildings, but concerns our wealth bigger: people”.
The spaces used by the Foundation will host laboratories, two classrooms for training and a large space for study and project work projects. “We are thrilled to welcome new students from all over Italy – he said Benedetto Di Rienzo, president of the Its Incom Foundation –. The project was created in synergy with other local entities and is part of a broader investment plan that we are implementing to enhance the quality of training and the professional growth of students.”
