How will the Sanremo Festival without Amadeus? Different. An obvious answer, but 8 months before the start of the 2025 edition – which as we know will be hosted by Carlo Conti – there is very little else to say. He also intervened on the issue Marco Mengoni, whose link with the most famous event in Italy has become very solid in recent years. In 2023, in fact, he triumphed with the ballad Two livesand in the 2024 edition it is back as co-host of the first evening alongside Amadeus, demonstrating an unsuspected talent even in those roles.
Intercepted in recent days by - as part of the McKim Medal Gala at Villa Aurelia, the singer-songwriter from Ronciglione was asked about the possibility of launching himself as a presenter in the future (a bit like what is happening in Georgie called to host the next edition of X Factor) has explained:
Co-hosting Sanremo was pretty tough, it was enough for me… In my opinion, things should be done slowly, one step after another, I’ve never been good at doing things quickly and perhaps I’m learning that patience is a virtue that I must look after and slowly support and feed.
Mengoni, who will return live in 2025 with a stadium tour, then addressed the issue linked to next edition of the Festival:
Sanremo without Amadeus? It will be different, but Conti is there and he is a great presenter so I think it will be fine anyway. I feel very attached to Fazio’s Sanremo as to Amadeus’ Sanremo because I received that statuette with the rampant lion and that palm tree there. I wish Carlo good luck and Sanremo, and the music.

I’ve always followed her a bit from behind the scenes, she’s a pure energy: we found this union together and created this piece which is very nice, a gem from her album, I was happy to be part of her journey.
