Grosseto, 9 June 2024 – The melodies timeless of Morricone and the emotions of the compositions of Giovanni Allevi at the Roselle quarry. They will be on sale from tomorrow at 12pm Ticket One tickets for the two events organized by Ad Arte Spettacoli: on Friday 30 August the Ensemble symphony orchestra with “Discovering Morricone” and, on Friday September 6Allevi’s “Piano solo tour”.
The melancholic charm of the timeless successes of maestro Ennio Morricone and the refinement of Giovanni Allevi’s piano will bring, after a few seasons of absence, the author’s music to Roselle Quarry.
The natural amphitheatre, created from an ancient stone quarry on the outskirts of the Maremma capital, returns to welcome the public with two prestigious events. “We have decided to bet again on the Roselle Quarry – says Lorenzo Luzzetti of Ad Arte Spettacoli – with two very particular events, which will be able to respond to the tastes of a varied audience: Morricone’s compositions are known and appreciated by generations of Italians, so like the energy and poetry of Giovanni Allevi who, finally, after a period away from the stage for health reasons, returns to perform with his most famous pieces and new compositions”.
With regard to “Discovering Morricone“, the show will be held on Friday 30 August at 9.15pm. Conducted by maestro Giacomo Lo Prieno, the Ensemble symphony orchestra will propose a journey into the production of maestro Morricone, not only through sounds, but also words, suggestions, and with performances by soloists and guests. Tickets for the first sector will cost 30 euros plus presale fees; sector 25 euros plus presale fees.
Giovanni Allevi with “Piano Solo tour” he will perform on Friday 6 September at 9.15pm. The Italian composer and pianist will arrive at the Cava di Roselle with a stop on the new tour, presenting live the pieces of his latest musical work, combined with the most famous pieces of his career, for solo piano. First sector tickets will cost 35 euros plus presale fees; second sector 30 euros plus presale rights.
