Macerata school and university
It is to beauty and its formative, transformative power, and, to quote Dostoevsky, “salvific”, that a course will be dedicated “Beauty Education”, aimed at students, teachers and citizens, which will take place from October to March at the headquarters of the “Stefano Scodanibbio” Music School, in via dell’Asilo 36 a Macerata.
The training course, organized by the permanent training delegates of the Department of Humanistic Studies of the University of Macerata Arianna Fermani And Antonella Nardi with Silvia Santarelli of the “Scodanibbio” school, will see alternating specialists of national and international fame, in the academic and musical fields.
Monday 10 June at 6.30 pm, The launch event will take place in the school hall “Beauty and its signs: dialogues at sunset on music and harmony”. At the meeting, sponsored by Unimc, the Municipality of Macerata, the Scodanibbio civic school of Music and the Ut-Re-Mi APS Association, after the institutional greetings of the rector John McCourt, of the director of the Department of Humanistic Studies Roberto Manciniof the University delegate for lifelong learning, training and business Gigliola Paviotti, of the president of the Ut-Re-Mi Association Adamo Angeletti, and of the culture councilor of the Municipality of Macerata Katiuscia Cassetta, and after the introduction of Arianna Fermani, Antonella Nardi and Silvia Santarelli, four exceptional guests will participate: Marcello La Matina, professor of philosophy and theory of languages, Roberto Cresti, professor of contemporary art history together with two internationally renowned musicians: the conductor Paolo Carignani and the pianist Alexander Sorokin. Participation is free while places last.
