The large hall of the building in Via Veneto full of set tables: the charity evening “Stare Insieme” of “Il Ponte”, organized for Friday evening, was definitely a success, with well over 200 people who accepted the invitation of the president Pietro Messina.
The evening included dinner and a lottery draw that allowed you to win the paintings displayed in the garden, offered by the painters L. Galeotti, E. La Rosa, I. Pergolesi, G. Pucilli, R. Ranaldi, Jessica Art, S. Sanucci, O .
It began with a greeting from the president, lawyer Messina, who recalled the thoughts of Don Picchi who inspired Don Egidio Smacchia in the realization of his project which led to the creation of “Il Ponte”.
Then it was time for dinner, cooked by the kids of the community under the expert guidance of the chef (volunteer and friend of “Il Ponte”) Vincenzo Pasquinelli who left the stove at his restaurant “La Valle del Burano” in Vetralla for one evening . A simple and excellent menu, strictly alcohol free, concluded with a tasty tart. The young guests of the Community themselves served the tables, while the mothers of the “Coccinella” project gave all those present original handmade bookmarks.
The first part of the lottery draw was held between the first and second to assign some of the paintings up for grabs, the other winning numbers will be announced later.
The proceeds of the subscription, as well as that of the dinner, will be allocated to the “My future” training project which aims to create job grants of three thousand euros and scholarships of one thousand euros to help the guests of the Community and of Coccinella to integrate into the company once all the various steps of the long and complex recovery program have been completed.

Practically all the teachers who offered to help the children complete their studies abandoned due to their addiction problems. Then there was the president Gabriella Sarracco with other exponents of the Cariciv Foundation, which has always been close to “Il Ponte”, large representatives of the local Lions Club, and some politicians, primarily the Hon. Alessandro Battilocchio, the Zaccheo councilor for the Municipality of Civitavecchia, while for the administration of Allumiere there was the mayor Luigi Landi and for that of Tolfa the councilor Alessandro Tagliani. Don Franco was always present and applauded, while a table was reserved for the relatives of Don Egidio Smacchia.
