The Beehive that says Yes “doubles” and, at the Pavia headquarters, joins the new headquarters in San Martino Siccomario where yesterday, in the premises of Via Eliseo Davagnini 17 at the Dosso Verde Parents Association, the inauguration took place. It was an opportunity to learn about the new project and taste local products!
A synergy for the good of the territory
In the new headquarters in San Martino, the synergy between two realities takes shape which, although operating in different fields, have many values in common. The Beehive that says Yes, on the one hand, is the platform that promotes contact between producers and consumers and the purchase of fresh and 0 km products via the web. Born in France in 2011, it arrived in Italy in 2015 and has already seen numerous hives created throughout the country. Each Hive is made up of a group of local producers, in order to enhance the treasure of local products, encourage a short supply chain and bring good and tasty, but also healthy, food to the table.
On the other side there is the Dosso Verde Parents Association, founded in 2004 by the will of a group of parents close to the Dosso Verde Institute, the neuropsychiatric rehabilitation and psychotherapy center for the developmental age (0-18 years) of Pavia. Its President is Katia Verzica.
Each Hive has its own place and time of distribution: the headquarters of the Dosso Verde Parents association also becomes part of the list of collection places. Not only that: it will be the members themselves who will work in the Beehive, for a project that aims to support the job placement and autonomy of the most vulnerable people.

It’s very easy: local producers within a 250 km radius who join the Pavia Beehive put their products on sale online. Consumers who register on the site can purchase what they want, without obligation of frequency or minimum spend, and then collect it at the Beehive closest to home, choosing the collection location directly on the platform or on the dedicated smartphone app (therefore the headquarters of Pavia or the new headquarters of San Martino Siccomario).
The collection of products takes place weekly, allowing for direct meetings and exchanges between farmers and consumers. In a simple way, you will always be able to have access to fresh, local and quality food, doing good for the area and its people.
