TREVISO – There are 10 new Agrichef branded Coldiretti and Campagna Amica Treviso. Yesterday they passed the final test of the qualifying course lasting approximately three months in which the aspiring Farmer Chefs, all agritourists of the Terranostra association, attended theoretical and practical lessons which explored the themes of hospitality and storytelling as well as aspects linked to preparation of dishes and knowledge of typical local products. THE There are therefore 33 peasant chefs or Agrichefs in the province of Treviso. LMarca was one of the first provinces in Italy to train this new figure capable of enhancing the agricultural activity expressed from the field to the table.

Also collaborating on this path with Coldiretti Treviso are the hotel institutes Maffioli of Castelfranco Veneto and Beltrame of Vittorio Veneto. The examination commission was chaired by Diego Scaramuzza, heart and soul of the Peasant Chefs project and current regional president of Terranostra Veneto. Also present yesterday were Giorgio Polegato and Giuseppe Satalino, respectively president and director of Coldiretti Treviso, Luca Colussi responsible for Terranostra Treviso, Elena Bortolomiol, social and events, Luca Pinzi, communication, Antonella Alban and Mariagrazia Morgan respectively school directors of the Sartor Agricultural Institute of Castelfranco Veneto and the Cerletti Enological School of Conegliano, Michele Collavo and Augusto Pivanti, respectively responsible for the Treviso and Veneto training and development areas.

The course financed by the European Social Fund, through the Veneto Region, called “The talents of the zero km peasant chef” concluded with the final exams at the Dalle Crode family’s Castagnera farmhouse in Tarzo. “The growth of our great ambassadors of zero km production continues, who with their talent and sensitivity make us appreciate what our agriculture can express,” explains Giorgio Polegato, President of Coldiretti Treviso.
