Now it’s official: Alessio Dionisi is the new coach of Palermo. And with the announcement of Dionisi, also came that of Morgan De Sanctis. In fact, the former Salernitana player will play the role of sports director. The Palermo continue building for next season of B series. Palermo, it’s now official: Dionisi as coach, De Sanctis as new sporting director
Alessio Dionisi so he is ready to start again after the last experience with the Sassuolo. The former Neroverde coach was the chosen one to take charge of the team’s bench Palermo. And after the signing, the official announcement arrived on Friday 7 June. Dionisi’s staff will include Paolo Cozzi (deputy), Fabio Spighi (athletic trainer), Massimiliano Sigolo (technical collaborator) and Diego Daldosso (technical collaborator). The official statement: “Palermo FC announces that it has entrusted the role of First Team coach to Alessio Dionisi. The coach, starting from next July 1st, will join the Rosanero Club with a multi-year contract. After that of the coach, however, also came the signature of Morgan De Sanctis. Following the announcement of the separation with Rinaudo, the club moved to look for a new profile regarding the sporting director. And the Palermo managed to beat off competition from Besiktas for the former goalkeeper. Alongside him there will be Simone Lo Schiavo and Giulio Migliaccio. The company statement: “Palermo FC announces that it has entrusted the role of Sports Director to Morgan De Sanctis. The manager, starting from next July 1st, will join the Rosanero Club with a multi-year contract. De Sanctis is welcomed to Palermo by the City Football Group, president Mirri and the entire rosanero family.”
To officially confirm the entry into the company of Dionysis And De Sanctis was the CEO Gardini through an interview released on the club’s channels. “We intended to entrust the technical direction of the Club to Morgan De Santis, a young sports director who has vast experience as an international footballer, who has a great knowledge of football and who adapts to our characteristics.
