CAPISTRELLO. Despite the precautionary measure of the ban on approaching his parents, last night, a 43-year-old attempted to enter their home but the couple called the police at the Civitella Roveto station and the man was arrested for mistreatment.
The 43-year-old who had had drug addiction problems in the past is now under house arrest on the orders of the public prosecutor of the Avezzano Public Prosecutor’s Office. The incident happened around one o’clock last night when the two elderly people were woken up by the fury of their son who attempted to enter the house.
The couple, fearing that the 43-year-old might enter, asked the police for intervention. Upon the arrival of the military, the man was taken to the barracks, definitively leaving the place where he had been removed a week ago following the precautionary measure of the no-approach ban. The provision, signed by the investigating judge of the Court of Avezzano, was notified by the Carabinieri of Capistrello.
After the arrest and the precautionary measure under house arrest, the Carabinieri patrols of the Tagliacozzo company command will ensure that the 43-year-old remains at home and does not return to persecute his elderly parents.
