The Commissioner’s Structure announced that an Ordinance has been issued by the Extraordinary Commissioner for the 2016 earthquake reconstruction which introduces a new possibility for Municipalities to replace private individuals in the event of inertia in private reconstruction.
The Ordinance in fact establishes a Register of Commissioners, managed by the Extraordinary Commissioner, to whom the Municipalities will be able to refer to give responsibility for the design relating to private buildings that still do not see solutions for reconstruction.

Guido Castelli for having listened to the needs of us Mayors of many Municipalities who are facing problems due to the 2016 earthquake, especially in the historic centers – declares Mayor Pietrangelo Panichi. The Ordinance introduces a novelty which will finally allow the Municipalities, after having served a 30-day notice, to replace the owners of unusable properties who have not responded or who are inert, dissenting or unavailable, so that the interventions can be proceeded with. of reconstruction by reopening the public streets closed due to the same unusable buildings. An intervention that goes beyond normal safety measures. In fact, it will be possible through a concrete and clear administrative provision, issued by a central state body, to proceed with activating the urban regeneration of the villages affected by the 2009 and 2016 earthquakes”.
