L’AQUILA – “Time is a gentleman and the fact that the socio-economic recovery and development of our territory are at the top of the priorities of the Meloni government’s agenda allows us to be able to reject the criticisms that have arrived in recent months from the sender Pd which seems to rejoice every time there is even just the risk that our city will lose some opportunities, because today we have the certainty of being able to count on the huge resources provided for in the extraordinary intervention program for urban redevelopment and the safety of the suburbs”.
Thus, in a note, the mayor of L’Aquila, Pierluigi Biondi, after the General Secretariat at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers communicated that, in compliance with the contents of article 1 paragraph 303 of the State budget forecast for the financial year 2024, the State Attorney’s Office has issued a favorable opinion regarding to the readmission of the Municipality to the program for access to funds through the signing of an Agreement with Palazzo Chigi.
“Thanks to this result – the result of good offices and constant work carried out in the appropriate offices, which are usually found in Rome where I am often accused of spending time in vain – our municipality will be able to benefit from 18 million euros,” he explains Mayor Biondi, “for whom, as always, we will plan the commitment in a strategic way to provide answers to the vast territory that makes our city one of the largest municipalities in Italy”.
