Summer to the rhythm of music kicks off on June 13th. The Municipality of Rho with Confcommercio offers a rich program for open shop evenings
Rho – Trusting in less adverse weather than that of recent weeks, will kick off next June 13th Thursday Summer Festthe traditional summer event that combines shops open until late on Thursday evenings, musical opportunities and good food in some parts of the centre.
“Thursday Summer Fest” kicks off
This year’s program is divided into two squares, with a different theme each evening and different entertainment options: Piazza Jannacci will be dedicated to live shows and moments of dance, with some moments dedicated to families and the elderly; Piazza San Vittore will be dedicated to young people, with several DJs performing from the Tourist Infopoint. The program brings together proposals for different age groups, so as to offer all citizens opportunities to be together and experience the city in a festive atmosphere.

The theme of the first evening, June 13th, will be End of school partyto celebrate the end of the school year: while in Piazza San Vittore the DJ of Radio 105 Pippo Palmieri will animate the heart of the city, in Piazza Jannacci the association “Those of the” will stage the family show “Next stop… emotion”.
Thursday 20 June, waiting for the Summer solsticewill be Radio Mast to accompany those who gather in Piazza San Vittore to the rhythm of music. In front of the Civic Theatre, however, entertainment with Asd City Dance Academy.
June 27th Rainbow Nightthe rainbow night to celebrate diversity: DJ Radio Mast And FELAB collective in Piazza San Vittore, while the event “Proud to be us” edited by Spazio Mast, Caminante APS and Casa Azul with the participation of rainbow families, artists and citizens committed to LGBTQIA+ rights.
July will open on Thursday 4th with Jazz & Dance: in Piazza San Vittore DJ Radio Mast supported by WHYNOT collectivewhile in front of the Theater there will be space for the Jazz Club with Marco Mariani Sextet.
On July 11th the theme will be Music&Fitness: Radio Mast DJs will be supported by the collective PERIPHERALwhile in the other square there is room for the little ones with Baby dance and Motivational fitness with Fabio Milani.
On July 18th the slogan can only be “Only Italian music” because the one who will animate Piazza San Vittore will be nothing less than Radio Italia Party with the station’s most loved DJs. In Piazza Jannacci quieter atmospheres with the Jazz Club coordinated by Italian Songs Project.
Thursday 25 July Closing Party: grand finale with DJ Radio Mast associated with the PERIFERICA and FLYZONE collectives to give rhythm to Piazza San Vittore. In the nearby Piazza Jannacci the elderly will also be protagonists with the dance groups of the associations present in the city.
Food and beverages
In the two squares there will be food and drink points every Thursday evening. Merchants who wish to do so will be able to display the products outside the shop, on special stalls. Many shops and public establishments will keep their respective offices open in the hope that Rhodesians (and not only) will find opportunities for shopping and entertainment. An opportunity to animate the city together.
