The Pesaro International New Cinema Exhibition reaches its sixtieth edition, which will be held from 14 to 22 June, with the artistic direction of Pedro Armocida. The first without Adriano Aprà for whom a tribute to his memory is planned. 19 works will compete in the international competition, while Federico Rossin’s History Lessons will continue. The tributes from Italian cinema will be to Luca Guadagnino, Franco Maresco, Ficarra and Picone. One of the cinematographic events most attentive to the avant-garde and innovation of the seventh art is reaching its sixtieth edition, namely the Pesaro International New Cinema Exhibition, which will be held in the Marche town from 14 to 22 June: one day more than usual , anticipating the opening on Friday. An important milestone for the festival which unfortunately will no longer see the presence of one of its great protagonists and animators, and not only in his years as director, from 1990 to 1998, namely Adriano Aprà, who recently passed away. The beating heart of the new cinema exhibition, i.e. the international competition, dedicated to new formats and languages ​​of cinema without any limitations, will begin on Monday 17 July at the Teatro Sperimentale. 19 works will be presented, from all over the world, selected by the artistic director Pedro Armocida, supported by Paola Cassano, Cecilia Ermini, Raffaele Meale, Stefano Miraglia and Federico Rossin.
