“It is made known – so in a press release from the Rome-Bracciano-Viterbo Commuters Committee – that, immediately following the commuters’ meeting on Saturday 1 June 2024, the Fl3 Rome-Bracciano-Viterbo Commuters Committee obtained both a appointment at the regional Transport Department and some clarifications directly from Trenitalia on the replacement bus service plan to the closure of the railway line for works.
In particular, among the details that can be shared: the number of buses per travel solution has been evaluated based on the study of attendance and is not fixed; in the initial stages there will be staff dedicated to monitoring the influx of travelers towards the replacement vehicles and, where necessary, the number of vehicles used will be adjusted; Furthermore, the information web page on the cumulative Trenitalia and Cotral bus service is being finalized.
Although – the press release concludes – the limited involvement of local institutions, the Committee takes note of the availability expressed, declares the mobilization suspended and trusts that by the deadline of Friday 14 June, there will be a complete and clear information framework on the replacement service and that this proves reasonable, adequate and consistent. In the absence of such communication clarity and adequacy of the proposed plan, the Committee says it is ready to reconvene a mobilization“.
