In the constant search to train aware and active citizens in the fight against climate change, the Poli School, on May 31st, had the pleasure of hosting an important educational event in collaboration with CoReVe (Glass Recovery Consortium) and ASM.

The meeting involved the first classes, with the aim of raising awareness and training students on separate waste collection, focusing in particular on the recycling of glass, an immortal and infinitely recyclable material. The importance of separate waste collection and glass recycling was highlighted as part of a broader commitment to environmental sustainability. Students had the opportunity to understand the life cycle of glass and the positive impact that its correct disposal can have on the environment.

Through this initiative, the Poli School is committed to training responsible citizens, capable of actively contributing to the conservation of the planet. Educating students about waste separation practices not only promotes more sustainable behavior on an individual level, but also prepares them to become leaders and activists in the fight against climate change.

The meeting was also an opportunity to reflect on the importance of Goal 13 of the United Nations Agenda 2030, which aims to take urgent measures to combat climate change and its impacts. Promoting the separate collection of glass represents a concrete step towards achieving this global objective. CoReVe and ASM played a vital role in organizing this educational event. The Poli School continues to be committed to providing education that goes beyond the walls of the classroom, preparing our young people to become responsible citizens aware of their impact on the environment.
