The 5 Star Movement closes the electoral campaign in Reggio Calabria

Conte: «Decisive days for Italy and Europe»

The 5 Star Movement concluded the electoral campaign for the 2024 European Elections with an event in Reggio Calabria. The event saw the participation of numerous prominent personalities, including the former President of the INPS Pasquale Tridico, the deputy and former prosecutor Federico Cafiero De Raho, the former President of the Chamber Roberto Fico, and the regional coordinator Anna Laura Orrico .

Via video link from Rome, the former Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte wanted to send his greetings: «A quick greeting, but I really wanted to. I’m here, from one television program to another, in the final moments of the electoral campaign. We focus mainly on press and television interventions, but I wanted to send a greeting. I am in Rome, in a square in Rome, during a break. I know that you are connected, I imagine many of you, to Reggio Calabria, and I too want to urge you because these are decisive days for the history of our country and Europe. We will decide whether we must continue with this military escalation or instead invest, as we have been saying for some time, in peace negotiations.”

The event underlined the importance of the upcoming elections and the crucial role that the 5 Star Movement intends to play in the Italian and European political landscape.
