Neonatal Pathology Cremona hospital: TINsieme donates a latest generation bassinet that will accompany newborns right from the delivery room.
Thermal cradle for Neonatal Pathology
There Neonatal pathology of Cremona can count on one new thermal cradle. It is a precious gift of the TINsieme Association for i premature babies. The official delivery took place on the afternoon of Thursday 6 June 2024 in the presence of the general director Ezio Belleriof the social health director Angelo Garavaglia and the administrative director Gianluca Leggio.
They intervened Bruno Drera and Morena Nazzari (Director and coordinator of Neonatal Pathology respectively), Verena Bolchi (Ifo Maternal and Child Area) with the medical team and part of the nursing team. They participated for TINsieme Cristina Contestabili (Vice president), Giuliana Maria Bodini (Councillor) e Monica Ravani (Secretary).

“A very precious gift – thanked Belleri. Birth is one of the most beautiful moments and represents the joyful side of life in hospital. When something doesn’t go as it should, the entire family needs to find specialized skills, listening, emotional sensitivity and adequate equipment: elements that are all present in this department.
I know the crib has decidedly innovative features: it will facilitate the work of healthcare workers and improve the comfort and care of newborns starting from the transfer from the delivery room to the ward. Thank you very much to TINsieme and to all the supporters of the association, especially for being alongside the Cremona hospital for ten years now.”
A warm shell that protects newborns

Every year there are more than one thousand one hundred births in Cremona, of these l‘8% are pre-term.
«The care of premature newborns takes place within a process shared with the maternal and child department directed by Aldo Riccardi and with the Obstetrics and Gynecology team with which we collaborate in perfect harmony», concludes Drera.
TINtogether was born in 2014 by a group of mothers and the former director of the department Carlo Poggiani with the purpose of improve prevention, treatment and care of newborns. The association, now chaired by Sonia Ballestriero, has worked to develop projects in favor of premature babies, raising funds and translating them into donations.
«The association continues to support the Neonatal Pathology of the Cremona Asst with commitment – they say Contestable, Bodini and Ravani. The moment of birth is fundamental. Many of us have direct experience of preterm births and we found the care and comfort we needed in this department. This is why we try to return part of what we have received with gratitude, thinking of the boys and girls who may have some difficulties.”
