The 12th edition of. began today, June 6th Etna ComicsThe international festival of comics, games and pop culture. As has been the case for many years now, the event is being held at Le Ciminiere exhibition centre Of Catania and it will move forward until Sunday 9th. The this year’s poster – dedicated to the Sicilian writer Luigi Pirandello – was drawn down by the author and cartoonist Zero limestonewho will be present at the festival for two days, in the stand of his publishing house.

For all four days of the festival there are dozens of meetings dedicated to comics, manga, anime – that is, Japanese-produced cartoons – films, books, TV series and various types of games. Among the guests of the first day of Etna Comics there will be: Mirka Andolfothe first Italian author to write and draw a story for the well-known American comics production company A.D; director Alfredo Lo Piero and the actors Tuccio And Claudio Musumeciwho will talk about the film A trip to meet Mimìfilmed 50 years ago Mimì Metallurgicaldirected by Lina Wertmüller.

Also present was the actor and director of pornographic films Rocco Siffrediwho will meet the public to talk about Supersex, the TV series broadcast by Netflix and inspired by Siffredi’s story and career. Also present was the director of Supersex, Francesca Mazzoleni, originally from Catania. In the afternoon there will also be a meeting dedicated to the exhibition 70 years of TV seen by Mickey Mouseon display in Catania, al Palace of Cultureuntil June 16th.
