The board of directors of the Forlì Red Cross has been renewed. The almost 400 voters equal to 61% of the association’s volunteers elected Giuliana Biondi, 63 years old, mother of three girls and the first woman since 1888 (the year the Forlì Red Cross was founded) to hold this position, already a member of the Council, as president. Outgoing director and red cross volunteer for 19 years in the territorial headquarters of Castrocaro Terme.

Together with Biondi, Enrico Di Lena will also make up the Board of Directors for the 2024-2028 mandate, 41 years of which 19 dedicated to the Red Cross, appointed vice-president at the first meeting of the board of directors; Elisa Baravelli, born in 1977 and with the Association for 9 years; Serena Severi, mother of two boys, 45 years old and with the Red Cross for 24 years at the Meldola headquarters. Together with them, elected by the Young People of the Red Cross, i.e. by volunteers aged between 14 and 31, the twenty-nine year old Nicola Gennaretti was reconfirmed.

“I thank the Volunteers for their trust in me and the entire team who decided to embark on this new adventure with me – stated the new president -. Now we will get to work for the Association, taking care to put the our service to people in difficulty in the area”.
