AND Giuliana Biondi the new president of the Committee of Forlì Red Cross. In the elections for the renewal of the Board of Directors, the almost four hundred voters, equal to 61% of the association’s volunteers, chose the 63-year-old, mother of three girls and the first woman since 1888 (the year the Forlì Cri was founded) to hold this position, already a member of the outgoing Board of Directors and a volunteer in the territorial headquarters of Castrocaro Terme for 19 years.
Together with Biondi they will also make up the council for the 2024-2028 mandate Enrico Di Lena41 years of which 19 dedicated to the Cri, appointed vice president at the first meeting of the Board of Directors, Elisa Baravelliborn in 1977 and with the association for nine years, Serena Severi, mother of two boys, 45 years old and for 24 years in Cri in the Meldola office. Together with them, elected by the Young Cri, i.e. volunteers aged between 14 and 31, the twenty-nine year old was reconfirmed Nicola Gennaretti.
In his speech Biondi thanked the volunteers for «their trust in me and the entire team who decided to embark on this new adventure with me. Now we will get to work for the association, taking care to put people in difficulty in the area at the center of our service.”
