The reconstruction and maintenance interventions planned following the flood events that hit Cesena in May 2023 also include the restoration and safety works of the public residential building stock to which the commissioner’s office has allocated overall compensation. of 2,534,434.83 euros. In this regard, the municipal administration of Cesena has entrusted the provincial body (Acer) with the planning, assignment and start-up of works on the damaged heritage. The interventions will concern the restoration of basements and ground floors affected by garages, cellars and rooms intended for thermal power plants, the restoration of electrical and sewage systems, and the reconstruction of roof coverings and accommodation that have suffered infiltrations. We will therefore soon proceed with the launch of safety measures in the accommodation located in the most affected areas of the city: this is the case of via Savio di San Michele 160, 162, 164 and 166, where restoration works will be carried out; via Machiavelli 130, where it will be necessary to intervene with restoration work on the garage premises, cellars and verification of the substation with replacement of components; via IV november 521, 539, 557, where a building and plant engineering intervention will be carried out on the basement floor; via Pescheria 27, where we will proceed with the installation of the roofing structure; via Castiglione 151 and 159; via Vigne di Sopra 545-559, where we will intervene in the cellars with the electrical safety of the rooms and with checks and restoration of the electromechanical systems; via Umberto Saba 411/421.
