As part of the reconstruction and maintenance interventions planned following the flood events that dramatically affected the municipal area of Cesena in May 2023, also includes the restoration and safety works of the public residential building stock (ERP) to which the commissioner structure, following the damage assessment presented by Acer Forlì-Cesena (managing body) and within the scope of ordinance 16, has intended for a total compensation of 2,534,434.83 euros. In this regard, with the aim of proceeding with the reconstruction, restoration and repair works, the municipal administration of Cesena has entrusted the planning, assignment and start-up of works on the damaged heritage to the provincial body (Acer).
The interventions will concern the restoration of basements and ground floors affected by garages, cellars and rooms intended for thermal power plants, the restoration of electrical and sewage systems, and the reconstruction of roof coverings and accommodation that have suffered infiltrations.
We will therefore proceed with the launch of the program in the near future safety interventions in accommodation located in the most affected areas of the city: this is the case of via Savio di San Michele 160, 162, 164 and 166where restoration works will be carried out (including on appurtenances), restoration of overhead garages and garages, electrical systems and external systems; via Machiavelli 130where it will be necessary to intervene with restoration work on the garage premises, cellars, verification of the substation with replacement of components, verification of the electrical systems of some common areas and related appurtenances; via IV november 521, 539, 557where a building and plant engineering intervention will be carried out on the basement floor; via Pescheria 27where we will proceed with the arrangement of the roofing structure (waterproofing covering) and with internal restorations; via Castiglione 151 and 159; via Vigne di Sopra 545-559where we will intervene in the cellars with the electrical safety of the rooms and with checks and restoration of the electromechanical systems; via Umberto Saba 411/421.
The same properties covered by the survey carried out by Acer Forlì-Cesena will also be affected by specific reconstruction interventions. In detail, in via Savio San Michele 160, 162, 164 and 166, extraordinary maintenance works will be carried out relating to the appurtenances of the courtyard areas, including the replacement of fixtures, renovation of the electrical systems, restoration and replacement of internal and external finishing elements); in via Machiavelli 130 an extraordinary maintenance intervention is planned for the common parts of the garage, cellars, boiler room, stairwells and facades, including: replacement of fixtures; renovation of electrical systems; replacement of mechanical system components; restoration and replacement of internal and external finishing elements; in via IV november 521, 539 and 557, work has been planned to renovate the partitions, the electrical systems, and restore and replace the finishing elements; in via Pescheria 27 the roof covering will be renovated, including sheet metal work and life lines, fixtures will be replaced, and internal and external finishing elements will be restored and replaced. Further interventions will involve via Castiglione 151-159 (renovation of the roof covering, including sheet metal work and life lines; replacement of fixtures; restoration and replacement of internal and external finishing elements); via Vigne di Sopra, 545-559 (extraordinary maintenance of common parts of the basement and facades, including: replacement of fixtures, renovation of electrical systems, replacement of mechanical system components, restoration and replacement of internal and external finishing elements); via Umberto Saba.
