Comments

«There is great attention for the dinner hosted by the President of the Republic in the Castello Svevo in Brindisi (13 June, ed.). I also saw there is a well-defined plan on this. I am confident that everything will go well, and that Brindisi and Puglia will make a very worthy impression in this too.” The words are from the Minister of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi at the end of the provincial committee for public order and security, which he chaired, for the planning of the G7 which will be held in Borgo Egnazia from 13th to 15th June. «I know Puglia quite well. I found – he added – a very beautiful territory, very proud of its beauty and its functionality. One of the best scenarios that could be offered for an event like this.” «I am grateful to all the members, I mention the prefect who hosted us and who is carrying out the coordination. But I really have to say thank you – Piantedosi continued – to all the police forces, the armed forces and the firefighters. I thank the Puglia Region and the territorial administrators, the mayors and the president of the province.” For the minister «it will be a great opportunity, a very important showcase for Puglia. It will be one of the many ways in which we show the world our beauties, including the places in Puglia interested in this event, but also the good organization that we are capable of putting in place.”
