Viterbo – The municipality makes it known – The use of water must be limited to uses in technological systems and for domestic hygiene
Viterbo – We receive and publish – Water intended for human consumption, fluorides above the permitted value in the areas supplied by the Pratoleva water network.
Following the ASL communication to the Municipality of Viterbo and to the water service manager Talete, following the Arpa Lazio note regarding the non-compliance of the fluoride parameter in the sampling points fp Sant’Angelo di Roccalvecce, fp via Rigo and via della Stazione a Santo Stefano Caves, the union ordinance was signed which prohibits the consumption of water for food purposes, supplied via the public aqueduct, in relation to the areas supplied by the Pratoleva water network, i.e. Fastello – Strada Teverina – Roccalvecce – San’Angelo – Grotte Santo Stefano – Vallebona.
In such places the use of water must be limited to uses in technological systems and for domestic hygiene.
The society Thalesas manager of the integrated water service in Ato 1 Viterbo, in compliance with what is specified in the ASL note, must adopt, as quickly as possible, the corrective measures necessary to bring the fluoride parameter back within the legal limitsin order to supply water that complies with the quality requirements established by current legislation.
The ordinance will be available for consultation in the next few hours on the notice board of the institutional website.
As soon as the values return to normal, the population will be immediately notified.
