CIVITELLA DEL TRONTO / ROSTA – The fifth and final stage of the Borbonica Cup 2024 – National XCO was held on Sunday 2 June in the Abruzzo town of Civitella del Tronto (Teramo), in which the athletes of Ciclistica Rostese participated. A route partly in the historic center of the Rocca and partly on a dirt road with really tiring climbs and very slippery ground due to the pouring rain. Precisely due to the weather conditions, unfortunately the student, women and men of Ciclistica Rostese races were canceled due to the route being impracticable and therefore Giada Galasso, Lorenzo Favero and Matteo Vottero were unable to compete. Well done to Cristian Galasso, ranked fourth among the Juniors, and Edoardo Ducco second among the 1st year ESOs. Davide Giangregorio (19th) and Gregorio Sasso (21st) also finished the race in this last category. We remember the tax code of Ciclistica Rostese to donate the 5×1000 and support their sports group.
