Archaeological investigation operations have begun at Porta Santa Croce in preparation for the construction of the railway underpass between Via Roma and Viale Ramazzini, foreseen by the project supported by the Pnrr “Redevelopment and urban regeneration of the north-eastern quadrant of the historic center of Reggio – cycle/pedestrian underpass to the railway historic Milan-Bologna”.
Therefore viale Ramazzini e pPiazza Duca of the Abruzzi until the end of June transit and parking will undergo some changes according to the following scheme:

phase 1, in progress: in viale Ramazzini, stretch between via Sforza and number 1/E: interruption of vehicular traffic in the south lane and permanent parking ban with forced removal in construction areas

phase 2, 4 and 5 June; in Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi interruption of vehicular traffic in the intersection between the square and Viale Isonzo, exit lane onto Viale Isonzo; permanent parking ban with forced removal in construction sites. Consequently, traffic exiting the square will be diverted onto the service roads.

phase 3, from 7 June: in Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi: interruption of vehicular traffic in the intersection between the square and Viale Isonzo, in the entrance lane to Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi and in the slip road connecting to the former Bingo car park; permanent parking ban with forced removal in construction sites

phase 4, from 17 to 30 June: in Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi: interruption of vehicular traffic in the link road connecting to the former Bingo car park and permanent parking ban with forced removal in the construction areas
