Bologna, 4 June 2024 – Summer at the seaside or in a city of art? With the new ones timetables railways it will be possible to do both, thanks to the regional programming of Trenitalia Tpercreated with the support of the Region Emilia Romagnawhich provides more connections for the seanew intermodal services to move more comfortably and sustainable reaching the cities of art more easily and the debut of connections passers-by serving the Bolognese metropolitan area.
Off we go Sunday 9 Junewith the new summer timetable, already available on the purchasing systems of Trenitalia Tper And Trenitalia. The summer offer for the Romagna Riviera confirms and integrates all the additional regional trains proposed last year according to a program that touches all the location from the Ravenna beaches to Rimini. They are expected until 140 runs per day to and from Rimini, touching all the locations with peaks of 5 trains per hour between the Emilian capital and the Romagna city and 80 thousand seats. In particular up to 103 trains connect Bologna and Rimini, 30 of which with connections via Ravenna. Rock trains return from Piedmont and Veneto to connect the main cities of the two regions to beaches of the Romagna Riviera (eight trips at the weekend).

It is also confirmed theOrobica Line which this year will originate/destinate from Brescia (and not from Bergamo for work on the route). Finally, six more trains are scheduled on public holidays on the Bologna-Ravenna-Rimini line. For its construction the Region invested 5.6 million euros per year, as part of an agreement with Common and Metropolitan City. The service was scheduled together with Italian railway network, infrastructure manager, and Trenitalia Tper, which will carry it out with its new Rock and Pop trains. The summer will also be time for works on some routes, in the Bologna and Modena areas, for the adaptation of the tunnels and the restoration of the infrastructure damaged by the flood of May 2023. The trains will be replaced by bus to minimize inconvenience.
