Salerno is a diamond. Maybe still a little to be roughed up with some criticism which – when it is constructive – is always and in any case a contribution to growth. When the tourism councilor Alessandro Ferrara declares that the city is an increasingly popular destination, he is telling the truth and the numbers bear witness to this: more than positive feedback at the various fairs where the Municipality of Salerno has showcased its jewels, attendance gradually increasing – in the last weekend there was 78% incoming – visitors from all over Italy and not just around to admire the beauties of the city with related visits to the province, the cruise calendar which is as busy as always, in short if the numbers speak, it is better to take note of the data since mathematics is not an opinion. The topic of shops remaining closed is an ever-popular refrain, but openings and closures are certainly not decided by the Municipality, in this the trade associations should find an agreement, a line to pursue. Trade associations which – as far as we know – were put at a discussion table by councilor Ferrara, who has always focused on teamwork, listening to everyone, not excluding anyone. A daily job which is also preparation for the autumn events, given that in the month of October Salerno will host the International School Tourism Exchange in Piazza della Libertà, where over 150 operators from all over the world will arrive, a beautiful initiative always with an international scope linked to the music and the Work Training Exchange, with the next edition of Luci d’Artista to be planned. We think about today with thoughts already turned to tomorrow, in short, in order to make the most of what this territory has inherited from Mother Nature.
