Castelraimondo (Macerata), 3 June 2024 – A man is hospitalized in serious condition 33 year old from Castelraimondoafter a dive among the rocksi in the waters of Ostia.
The accident reportedly occurred on Saturday. The man, of Albanian origins but resident in the town for years, had headed from Macerata to Lazio to spend a couple of days with his girlfriend, a compatriot. On Saturday the two, together with another friend, went to lunch. Then they headed to the pier in via dei Ravennati, on the Ostia seafront.
The 33-year-old would have soaked his feet there first, then he would have dived, in a stretch of sea where the water is rather shallow and there are some rocks. So is man he would have felt bad. The young man is currently located hospitalized at the San Camillo hospital in Rome. AND in a medically induced comain very serious conditions but, fortunately, it should not be life-threatening.
The parents and sister left Castelraimondo immediately on Sunday, notified by the Carabinieri of Castelraimondo, who in turn were informed of the incident by the Macerata Police Headquarters.
